The support groups are open
to people
diagnosed with cancer, those either presently undergoing treatment or discharged
from treatment, spouses, significant others, family and caregivers of cancer
patients. The numbers in attendance at the meetings vary and may be the
facilitator and one or two attendees, or as many as ten participants.
Sharing experiences is meaningful to those seeking advice in coping with
diagnosis and treatment, and benefits those after treatment by helping others.
Sequim Support Group:
The
Sequim Operation Uplift Women's Support Group is not meeting at this
time.
Port Angeles Support Group:
The Port Angeles Operation Uplift Women's
Support Group meets the third Wednesday of the month, 6:30-8:00 P.M., in the
Operation Uplift Office, 118 S. Liberty Street, Suite B. Women cancer
survivors and their female relatives and friends are welcome.

Men's Support Group:
The Men's Operation Uplift Support Group
is not meeting at this time.
