Breast Health Clinics for 2012

Operation Uplift held two Breast Health Clinics in 2012, the first was held in June during Pink-Up Port Angeles where  21 women received free Mammograms.  Seven of these women needed extra views which were also paid for by Operation Uplift.  A second breast health clinic was offered in October, during Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Twenty-eight women received free mammograms, with five needing extra views.  Operation Uplift had more than 50 requests for mammograms during October so we decided to hold an extra clinic on January, 19, 2013.  There will also be breast health clinics in June and October, 2013.

Thanks to Kacey Eichacker and her staff at the OMC Imaging department for their help in making these clinics possible.
